(thanks for actually reading it, tt! It always makes me happy to see someone read the previous posts before posting...so glad you didn't come in and say "what's happened so far?" ) As the dual-herd of 29 Saurolophus and 15 Prenocephale got closer to the watering hole, they saw the 5 Nodosaurus they'd left behing now had the company of a herd of 12 Protoceratops and even a herd of about 20 tiny N00baSRs...but that didn't concern them...they knew the language of the protos, and they just iggied the n00bs. What concerned them was the presence of a larger Tarbosaurus than what they had just chased off. They were still recovering from the previous stampede and needed to rest before they could trample this one. If they could make peace with the tarbo long enough to recover, they might be able to chase him off later. Keldor cried out the Master Words, "We be of one blood, ye and I!" A tradition that had started in India, the Master Words were now an international code that was used to indicate that one was coming in peace. Though it wasn't necessary here, since the Tarbosaurus spoke Mongolian just like the Saurolophus, it seemed an appropriate ritual in this strange circumstance. By the letter of the Code of the Jungle, one was to cry the Master Words until they were answered. "A wise move, Master Keldor," said the khan. When the Tarbosaurus didn't seem to hear the first time, Keldor tried again. Among the herd, there was a lot of commotion as they questioned this risky move, but they knew well that no one had any better ideas.

Dave noticed a large Tarbosaurus running after some Shuuvia. The leader, GroovyShuuvi15 was wondering what to do. He was a lvl 87 d-fend-r, or whatever that was, and not to be messed with. He had the highest "skizells" of all of the Shuuvia, and was the most annoying. But Dave was a "Level 15" by their standards, and he knew GroovyShuuvi15 was to be avoided. He was tough. Every hatchling was a "n00b," and Dave loved eating them. Bite-sized morsels. But there were no "n00bs" around for him to eat. He just settled on a lizard. He heard GroovyShuuvi15 discussing that teh lvl 2154 Shuuvia kill-r was pwning them, and tey shud run away. Idiots thought Dave.

Keeron could hear a commotion at the watering hole. Curious, he moved closer. Ah, that explained it! The herd was talking amongst themselves and shuffling around, their attention held by a second, larger Tarbosaurus. He saw this as an opprotunity. Ha! Here's my chance to show them not to hold me back! Swiftly he rushed toward the herd. Once there he lashed out at whatever dinosaur happened to be unlucky enough to be close to him. He did not care who his victim was. It was one of the Prenocephale. He was quick to dispatch it before it had much time to react by ripping off its head. Then he picked it up in his jaws and carried it away, so that the herd could still see him but posed little threat. Dropping it back down on the ground he would begin to eat. He let out a roar of triumph for the herd to hear, to let them know he had assassinated one of their own, whether it had been someone of high rank or not. He was still thirsty, although he figured that he would be able to drink soon enough, or perhaps the rain would form a small puddle that would suffice before then.

There was some screaming from the ladies as they realized their pal Kebeg had been decapitated, Mongolian cursing from the male pachies, Russian sailor cursing from the Saurolophus alpha male. At least that would satisfy his hunger for a bit, though. Keldor regained his focus and continued calling out to the other Tarbosaurus.

Since the Prenocephale was too big to eat whole, Keeron pressed his foot down on one and and bit down on the other and pulled. There was the sound of crunching bone and ripping flesh as the animal got ripped in half. Keeron swallowed the first half whole, but only picked at the second half. He carried it with him to a nearby tree, where he lay down to rest under the cover of its leafy branches.

G-bract, finally snapping out of his rage,(after the shuuvia were either dead or gone) finally realised several creatures had already been calling to him and quickly tried to make peace with the saurolophus claiming "I only hunt those who can fight back" as well as repeating the master words in the ancient language of the eoraptor "ek'Taal kotem' a'ai kooloo lim' pahl!"

(bonus rp points if anyone knows what the Master Words are in reference to lol)
Relieved that the predator was accepting the offer of peace, the herd continued moving back toward the waterhole. There was only so much time during which to recuperate, so they couldn't waste a minute if they were to leave before dawn. After all, the next watering hole, as Yeswi Khan had said, was three days away. That meant not all of the herd would make it.

Kerog awoken to see the rain cleared up.He glanced at what he believed to be a super lake. The lake has tripled in length and had several flora which was considered tastey by the leaf eaters.Very healthy too.
He now was a little thirsty, despite the wet atmosphere. He glanced at the lake, and saw another Tarbo along with the giant herd of herbivores. This Tarbo, however, was an old geezer, clearly due to his raggy skin.He also saw the irritating Tarbo feasting on another Prenocephale. But that wasn't important now.The problem was how to sneak past the herd to the otherside of the lake, without causing an uproar. He thought and thought...at least, til Caesar took a landing near him.Caesar could see Kerog was thirsty and devised up a deal that would benefit them both.Croc beak,I got a deal for ya.said Caesar. And what would that be?I'd rather eat ya then devise a scheme with you.replied Kerog. He then bared his teeth.Eat me and you won't make it to the otherside where the cool water resides. Alright then,I'm listnening.said Kerog. Caesar chortled.Alright heres the deal. You let me eat that Proto you saved there, and you can have your drink.I'll distract the herd long enough for you to get across.Kerog frowned. And how will you pull of a stunt like that?
Just keep the carcass warm for me.And just start running.Caesar leaped into flight and screeched a call into the heavens. The herd and "old geezer" looked up an stared at the gliding Caesar. The other Tarbo just kept eating however.Caesar screeched again. This time a larger pterosaur came down from the clearing clouds. This was Quetzacoatlus, king of the skys. The winged beast, dubbed Deity, dived strait for the Prenocephale carcass the other Tarbo was eating hungrilly and stole it out of his jaws, leaving only a rib.The Tarbo was furious and tried to grab the wing to no avail. The herd was transfixed on the magestic giant.Kerog was aswell, but didn't get distracted. He hustled across the lake to the otherside and took a long draught. The two giants in the sky then dived down to the tree outcropping and shared the Proto and Preno meat together in total secrecy.Nice one Deity.Lucky you were flying this way or I may haven't been able to pull this off. said Caesar.Deity blushed. It was nothin'.Actually,I was leading another group of animals this way and was famished. This meat is delicious!Caesar paused.Wait another herd?
Yes,some of the long necks. They've been wandering the desert in search of water and followed the pouring rains this way.Caesar asked How far are they?Deity retorted Far,but should be here in a day or so.Gonna get pretty crowded soon, but not our problem.Let's just eat and let the herbivores find out for themselves once they arrive.Did I mention these guys don't like sharing?

No real points, just a happy warm feeling if you know!) Keldor realized this North American reptile didn't belong here, and was beginning to think something strange was happening. Confirming his hunch, there was a flash of light, and an aged Antarctosaurus and a herd of about six Antarctopelta appeared, creating a splash as they met the bottom of the pond. Their cries came, "¿Qué pasa? ¿Dónde estamos? ¿Qué es esto? El agua caliente? Hace tanto calor aquí!" Of course, no one present had studied Spanish before. "Something's going terribly wrong!" shouted Keldor.

Indeed it was.The Nodosaurs and Protoceratops panicked after the giant splash and ran frantically in different directions, mainly the tree outcropping. The pair of giant pterosaurs were droven away from their meal and flew off into the skys above. Many Shuuvia were trampled, and a few of their last words were Y DID I 4GET MY 1UP?!? and H@(K3R!The rest of the Prenocephale and Saurolophus were binded from panicking by their leaders.Even Kerog was frightened off by the fact that he himself has never seen something so massive! He ran to the only cover he could find:The tree outcropping.(You can probably guess what he had for dinner this evening. Not the Nodos,he finds them too dry.).Chaos enveloped the air as part of the giant herbivore herd was seperated by the titanic animals.
It seemed they were the only ones not in panic. The Antarctosaurus was taking up most of the space and feeding on the shrubs on the ground that just sprouted. The Antarctopelta did the same, but drove off the herd away from the suculent undergrowth. The old Tarbo was even pushed away by two of the anklyosaurs, whom went to push the other Tarbosaur away aswell.
In their native toungue, they claimed that this watering hole was theirs now,yet no one understood. If only the Nodosaurs were here to understand them...

Alright, I'll give it a go. Though I don't know about this whole time paradox thing. And yes, I'm up to date on the reading.
Name: Stenops Species: Stegosaurus Age: 25
Stenops was groggy from his long trek. He wasn't as young as he used to be and the various ornamentation that adorned his back while impressive, was heavy. He was determined to go on. As a juvenile he watched the few members of his herd slip into oblivion and had never seen another of his kind since. It was there, in that distant land that he decided he needed to find more of his own kind, besides self preservation it was the only thing that drove him. And in that search that spanned nearly two decades he had traveled an unimaginable distance and seen many incredible things. He was in a new place now, perhaps the most unusual of all. It was a desert environment and predators were abundant. He had never seen such a great concentration of predators in one place, especially when herbivores seemed so scarce. He would have to fight in order to survive here but perhaps beyond that next sand dune he would find another of his own, he had to think he would. The perils here were many but he was a veteran of combat, even if he was the last of his kind he wouldn't go without a fight but right now he could only focus on one thing...water.

Hi Mantooth2!I haven't heard from ya in awhile!Looks like you won the award for the first dino in this RPG from the Jurassic Period to arrive in the Cretaceous lol.Ahem...
Kerog kept running. He then saw a Proto in the way and snatched it in his jaws while running. However,as he reached the edge of the tree outcropping,he saw a strange dinosaur with strange back petrusions and a spiky tail.Must be a hybrid of an ankylosaur... he thought. He dropped the dead ceratopsian and looked at it again.Apparently it hadn't notice him yet.Let's see if this ankyfreak is a big clucking Oviraptor,or a threat like that Tarbo...Out of curiousity,Kerog roared loud at the strange animal awaiting it's response.

Keeron was feeling rather agitated now. First a gigantic winged reptile and stolen the other half of his lunch, and now some strange new armoured plant eaters were driving him away from the watering hole. He roared at them, wanted to attack them and tear them all apart. But he figured that would be a bad idea. He noted that while their bodies were covered in small armoured scutes and bumps like the nodosaurs from earlier, large spikes adorned their shoulders and neck, and he didn't want to get impaled in a fight. Instead, he patrolled the perimeter, growling at them all the while.

Kerog still awaited response from the strange ankylosaur-creature.Nothing.He roared again.
The Antarctopelta roared back at the Tarbo, this time, showing off their sharp spiky shoulder hide. They swung their clubless tails as intimidation and roared again. The ankylosaurs weren't about to let anything get to the lake.Even the massive Antarctosaurus and remaining Antarctopelta drove the herd and other Tarbo away. The massive sauropod managed to whip down 2 of the hadrosaurs with it's tail,in an atempt to drive the herd away from the cooling water.
