Dieter and his mate made their way towards the stashed bird carcass. Not only was it still there (much to his surprise) but four other carcasses lay there as well. Dieter didn't know what to make of it, he was almost suspicious. The odds of finding four more dead birds along with his stash was slim. There were days when he found nothing except the odd invertebrate. He and his mate sniffed the bodies, making sure there was nothing wrong with them. When he found out they were safe the two of them grabbed them up in their mouths, a difficult task as one would usually fall out while trying to snatch up the next. Eventually they succeeded and made their way home. If this supply of food kept up he was looking at a high survival rate for his chicks.

The brothers now walked through the forestland. As they transversed, they heard a roar from a ceratopsian. They peaked over to see in an inforest lake and saw a family of 5 Styracosaurus drinking together.Too hard to kill, they continued their walk through the forest...

Ed woke up. Apparently he'd passed out from heat exhaustion. He finally got to the lake and took a long, cool drink, then plunged in for a swim.

Dieter was concerned, things seemed awfully quite in the forest the last few days. None of the local predators were making their rounds and except for a lone ankylosaur taking a dip there wasn't much herbivore activity either. There wasn't much for him to do except tend his eggs, one of the clutches was due to hatch soon. The bird carcasses made for a great meal but were now long gone, soon he would have to hunt again.
schnautzr; any way you can add my name and species under my avatar like the others? Thanks.

After wandering in the quiet forest for so long, the brothers were getting wary. However, their long trek has finally ended as they found a herd of 10 Psittacosaurus grazing near a cliff.Zehark and Dracos both lunged and grabbed 2 of the bite sized morsels. The herd was startled from this sneak attack and accidentally leaped over the cliff.
(The cliff was placed next to a nest of breeding dromaeosaurs.Apparently the herd fell with a thud a couple inches away from the nesting site...)
The Albertosaurs were filling their jaws with their snack and then returned into the awfully quiet forest.

(Tooth, fixed that for you. Although you can edit it yourself anytime my going to the 'modify profile' menu. Its the "personal text" slot, just a couple slots under your avatar. ) After walking around for a proper meal, Torosus finally found a herd of Centrosaurus. There were a number of them in the field, though he figured they would not be hard to take down. He lay hiding in the foliage, planning an ambush. He roared at them. The Centrosaurs looked around. They could hear their enemy, but could not see it, and flew into wild panic. Torosus charged at the one closest near him, which had turned and was starting to run away. He grabbed onto one of its legs, biting down hard. Though ceratopsians were not fast runners, they could turn quickly on a dime. It wheeled around to face its attacker, in the process yanking its leg free, which only served to cause the tyrannosaur's teeth to rake through it. He backed up, away from it. The Centrosaurus roared at him. Its brethren were starting to approach him now. He retreated back to the safety of the trees. His victim would soon die of blood loss, if it didn't fall behind the rest of the herd and die first. Already the creature was walking with a limp, forced to move more slowly than the others.

Tarkkus wandered towards a hadrosaur carcass, and fed. His head was heavy, because He was harassed by a young hadrosaur, way in over it's head.
BTW: learned somthing cool about the Albertosaurus Bone Bed: Instead of only 5% of the fossils there being carnivores, there were 98% carnivore bones. And in a Charcharodontosaurus bed, ONLY C.Donto! They thought they had a turtle shell, turned out to be a broken tibia fragment.

(sorry guys...I'm kinda busy with my research on hydra and won't be able to post anything for awhile) The Lernaean Hydra?Tiz be alright.Though I'm not sure it's healthy for your ankylosaur to be drenched in the water for so long.... The brothers were both tired since activity around the forest was rather quiet. They decided to rest in this small cave.It was rather dry and warm outside, with a little pond near the entrance.Dracos went inside to find a good spot for his nap, while Zehark went to the litle pond and had a few fish and a draught of water before joining his brother for the evening.

I think he's talking about the biological hydra. It's biologically immortal, and really cool to see! I saw one under a microscope, and I suggested that GIANTmicrobes should make one.

After almost a half hour of waiting, the Centrosaurus had fallen to the ground. It was still alive, but not by much. Torosus walked over to it and quickly dispatched it by ripping out its throat. He began it eat it, only stopping when most of it was gone. He found it quite filling, and he wouldn't need to eat for the rest of the day, perhaps not tomorrow either.
