I don't believe any non-avian dinosaurs survived to the present day.

Nothing wrong with believing in Mokele-Mbembe and the other Congo cryptids...after all, many of the natives there do or did at some point. However, you can't base a scientific argument on a hunch like that without solid evidence. As strong of faith as I have in God, I'm not going to go publishing a paper that says God created the particles that caused the big bang or that God created science, because there's no real way I can test that, even though I have strong faith in both those theories. Just the same, it's scientifically unethical to write a paper stating that there are in fact dinosaurs in the Congo jungle when no one has been able to prove it yet. The reports I've read from various explorers conflict, anyway, which really discounts the whole thing. But I won't hold that belief against ya-- I don't see enough evidence to say that there are absolutely no large reptiles there aside from crocodiles, but the evidence available certainly doesn't favor the odds of living dinos.

Kasai Rex was not seen by natives, nor believed by them. The man who described it had a very inaccurate description of the location where he "saw" it. Mokele-Mbembe is also not true. It's said to have a bendy neck (not possible), kill people with its HEAD (tail would be more likely. It also has never been found, DESPITE numerous expeditions. Something that big has to be found sooner or later, and there must be many for them to breed. Mbeilu-Mbeilu-Mbeilu is just dumb. Many natives don't believe it, and how does a Stegosaurus remain submerged 24/7 without notice?
Onto the Amazon! Mapingari? Deforestation disagrees.
And the chances that a sauropod would survive 65 million years at the least without evolving at all is just ridiculous. Sure crocodiles don't change much, but they have a good body plan. Sauropods changed much in the time the lived, while crocodiles didn't change much. And show me fossils of non-avian dinosaurs after a considerable amount after the KT mark. Not 100 years, but more like 10 million. Chances are, they don't exist. And what happens to the modern day carcasses? Where do they go? Eaten up? How about the bones? Are they eaten too? Mokele-Mbembe is just not real. So have fun partying with Zues, Thor, Dragons, and Bigfoot on your search for live dinosaurs. They would love to come!

I actually find bigfoot (sasquatch) fairly believable but I don't put much stock in lake monsters or living non-avian dinosaurs. A large animal may very well live in the Conga undiscovered but perhaps it is a large turtle or monitor lizard, perhaps the Loch Ness monster is a large sterile eel. Certainly a lot more believable than a living sauropod.

Speaking of cryptids, anyone hear about the thing that washed up at Lower Cove?

Dude, that was harsh. just because you dont believe in something doesnt mean I have to blindly follow you. I admit, the evidence does stack up against me, but im not givin up easy

Well, may the Invisible Pink Unicorn and Flying Spaghetti Monster bless you on your travels. I'm sorry, it just seems weird that you don't try to validate your ideas yet you seem so convinced that it's true. If you say "Well there's evidence A, and here's evidence B, and then evidence C." If you said that, I would kindly disagree with you. End it with that. Done. Over. I just think you should do some research.

Dinosaurs still live, you just can't accept the fact that they ARE STILL ALIVE!

I even know and admit its illogical. and as strong a my faith in god, I believe that they are there. its a mysterious illogical faith, but I just know it in my gut that it's true. Oh yeah, and for the killed with its head thing, perhaps they mistook the tail of a sauropod such as say, shunosaurus(club tailed sauropod) for it's head
