I've got GA! I think i can help. BTW, who were the people who came in 3rd?

There were several--
DDG, DinoLord, Theri (you), and Tom.
Great...then you can help us make sure the adventure is feasible and do a lot of the putting it together once we have the story line put together. I think everyone should help make creatures and props.
Okay, Dino589 and I decided the asteroid deflection is a bad idea, as is most likely anything from the Magic School Bus.
So...for the Act I, should we do the virus or the reservoir depletion?

If its a virus, why not make it from dinosaurs that scientist resurrected.

Now THERE's an idea...This is starting to come together now.
Dalton, a researcher in Texas, is the first scientist to produce a cloning device (as seen in science fiction movies). Additionally, he is a paleobiologist and has discovered a way to create a living by assembling the skeleton of a dead one and firing a particular device at it. He has just succeeded in his first dinosaur, the Iguanodon, which he chose for its historical significance.
He creates multiple clones of the Iguanodon for testing purposes and purchases a large plot of land so he can set up a national safari park. His goal is to not only receive fame for his research and contributions, but to also make a hefty profit on his new business by attracting hunters who would like a dinosaur head mounted next to their deer head.
What Dalton wasn't ready for was the virus that had killed the Iguanodon he brought to life. This virus is similar to influenza, only more deadly. Though Dalton himself managed not to get the virus so far, several hunters have already contracted it and the new dinosaur flu is spreading quickly worldwide, since tourists from around the world have come both to view and to hunt.
Your mission is to work with Dalton, DiabloDog, Dino589, and ManTooth02 to come up with a solution to this epidemic dinosaur flu.

Not just Iguanadons, but probably velociraptors or T-rex to hunt the Iguanadons after the disease was discovered.
Find out that other dinosaurs were immune (just carriers) like rats and the bubonic plague. The rats just carried the fleas.
Solution might be to inject Dino DNA into the body as a vaccine. Become like the dino-people in the Mario Brothers movie.

I like your thinking...let me alter it (and what I said) just a bit...
Hylaeosaurus and Megalosaurus have been resurrected and cloned as well for the same historical reason as Iguanodon.
The Iguanodon is actually a carrier and was not killed by the disease now. As soon as the virus is traced to the Iguanodons, our friends (Dog, 589, and Tooth) begin research on a cure. They discover that by injecting dino DNA (as you suggested) as a vaccine, people become immune to it. Dr. Dalton offers several containers of DNA to help the cause. Your mission is to get a certain percentage of the population injected before they die of the dino flu.
In Act II (our second adventure in the series), we'll discover that Dr. Dalton has snuck in a special chemical into all the vaccines that will eventually cause people to turn into dinosaurs. And the DNA Dr. Dalton provided for the vaccines wasn't just one species of dinosaur...so this is where ultimate Dinoverse happens. We'll need to think of a solvable problem for that episode, but it's a great setup for a whole series now...the world has been turned into various dinosaurs and the only non-sentient ones are Iguanodons, Megalosaurus and Hylaeosaurus.

The mission in a box:
DiabloDog, Dino589, and ManTooth02 ask you to determine what's causing the virus. They know that the hunters that went to Dr. Dalton's dinosaur safari park were the first ones to contract it.
You collect blood samples from each of the three types of dinosaurs and bring them back. This should be difficult.
A puzzle game should allow you to diagnose which dinosaur was causing the infection and let the team know.
You have to deliver the DNA vials from Dr. Dalton to the research team.
You have to inject as many people as possible in a race against the clock.
Is it possible to fit all of this into one mission?

Okay...how much is a single mission capable of doing?

Mmk, so I was thinking maybe it would be better to start off small and maybe go for something different.
What about a prehistoric design team? We could work together to make assorted, accurate prehistoric missions. How does that sound? If thats what we decide to do, I request we do some more obscure locations that people don't usually think of, like Madagascar or Africa (as in Nigersaurus and Suchomimus, not Spinosaurus and Carcharadontosaurus).

More like the Disney movie Dinosaur?
We can use the PaleoDB for figuring out paleobiomes...it works rather nicely for that (wish I'd figured that out back when I made those lists for Alberta and Mongolia, lol).

No, more like Dinosaur Planet., but you get to explore as your captain.

Indeed. We're trying to figure out what the limitations are since we are making this too complex.
