I played tons of dinosaur missions throughout Spore and many people make them epic sized. Which saddens me because not only do the dinosaurs move sluggish and shoot fireballs, they just seem like your average B-movie monster. Well not anymore.
If anyone has played my Planet Eetheus adventures, you will know that just about all of my dinosaurs are accurately sized, but still are regular creatures, rather than epics.
How do I do this you ask? Well, let me show you.
1. You want to make the captain small. Shrink down the size of the captain as small as he can be. This also helps making larger cities on flatter terrain and more of the planet to add to the adventure.
2. Make your dinosaur in the creator, but make it BIG. As big as you can. Look at my therapod dinosaurs I created for an example. Use horror lumps to extend the tail length.
3. Add the dinosaur to the adventure, and increase it's size as big as it can get, before it's a scroll-click away from becoming epic.
4.Do this for all dinosaurs (Except the sauropods. You can make them epic, but make sure they're in scale with the captain.)
Now you have accurate sized dinosaurs without them being epic-sized.

Great Idea! I think I'll use this for my "Flight of the Pterosaur" Mission!
