Stegosaurus is a fairly unique creature...it's an herbivore equipped with armor and spikes. It's rumored the creature was fairly dim-witted, too.
Here are your options:
Distressed -- it ran when it was threatened, and its armor discouraged predators when they got a mouthful of bone and spikes
Docile -- it didn't seem to mind the presence of just about anything because the armor discouraged its predators from attacking it in the first place
Defensive -- when it was threatened, it defended itself with its armor
Deadly -- when it detected the presence of anyone it didn't like, it ran them down and slaughtered them

On a VERY related note... scienceblogs.com/laelaps/2009/10/in_the_introduction_to_his.phpThis article talks about a study done recently which found the sweet spot on glyptodont tails. The results suggest that if glyptodonts used their tails as weapons, it was most effective against others of its own kind, since aiming would be very difficult.

Interesting concept.
Spikes, too, though.
