Can't wait for the kids...mine are going to be little zoologists like I was...just need a girl first, lol. Why? I plan to clone myself as a child when I grow up. He'll share all the same interests, look exactly the same. But that's not a priority for me. Actually, I plan to make an exact clone of my younger self, download my memories onto a computer, and when I die, I go right into the body of my younger self, and keep doing that until I'm bored of life. ;D

I have no clue why I said that anymore...you waited too long to respond to it, lol. Probably because boys are typically expected to pursue sports.
I have several collections myself...
I used to collect rocks, figures of birds, stamps, Magic cards, Redemption cards (Christian version of Magic), keychains, stickers, comic strips, baseball and football cards, wildlife fact cards, coins, etc...
I've stopped collecting for the most part now since collections take up space. I do still collect state quarters, and I think I have about half of them now (including both Denver and Philadelphia mints). They're currently issuing four or five U.S. territory quarters. They're supposed to issue another set of quarters soon featuring national parks right after that. Maybe someday they'll issue dinosaur quarters, wouldn't that be cool?

State Dinosaurs! Epic idea! Let's see what we can list: Utah - Utahraptor (first to come to mind) New Jersey - Hadrosaurus Foulki (home state, came up too!) Montana - Tyrannosaurus (famous and impossible to leave out) Kansas - Tylosaurus (one of my favorites, why only dinosaurs?) New York - Coelophysis Any more good ones?

Or we could just do this: www.statefossils.com/but sometimes there are multiple versions of each species...

How do YOU sort your plastic collectables? Scale? Group? Color? Biome? Time-wise (when it lived) or Time-wise (when you got it)? I'd like to know! I sort them by scale. Mega-Microraptor half the size of a Giganoto doesn't make sense. Now I have: 1:4 - Microraptor, Caudipteryx (Arriving soon) 1:10 - Meerkats 1:20 - Postosuchus 1:40 - Giganotosaurus, Scutosaurus, Dunkleosteus, Allosaurus (Arriving Soon), Tylosaurus (Arriving soon) When I get some more, I'll sort them out more in-depth (IE: Time of creature)

Usually by the company that makes them. However I am thinking of putting away a few of my Papos and putting my Battats on the same shelf.
